I created a project about a little boy learning to drive and there was a fire truck behind him which caused him to cause an accident and it turns out the fire trucker driver was rushing home to grab his sandwich!
I learned the importance of a well taught of prompt...and how to scaffold participants better in a session using the app with us.
I would love to learn how others are engaging people on Octostudio and what are some interesting topics to explore.

Technology and Heritage Day with Identity: Phuti Ragophala

I created a project inspired by today's celebration of Heritage Day. I tried to use resources that are related to this day : e g back drop and varioys sprites accompanied by recorded texts to add flavour to the project. The idea was to bring the message home and make this project as lively as possible. I will be sharing these skills to my community children during school holidays.

Firts day when I introduce OctoStudio to my community children, it was like they knew it already. They were so fast in catching up with project in such that I instantly became the learner . I gave an instruction that they should create anything they want to create. Most of them created their spites dancing, jumping, going sideways etc... Their first day was amazing. What I observed was that girls were faster in creating than boys. Boys took time thinking on what to do. 🤗🤗
