When baby tiger sharks are born they are called pups. They are called this because they are born inside their mother, but all sharks are not like this some shark find safe spots to lay their eggs the sharks don’t care for the pups the pup eat small fish. When mating the male shark bite the female to immobilize it. “Courtship processes are also varied, but it is common that the male bites the female shark to get its interest or to immobilize it.”This probably means that the males need to interest their mate or just cause."The ones with pups that grow inside the mother have fewer babies at a time than sharks that lay eggs outside the body. Sharks do not care for their babies after they are born, but they do search for a safe place where they can lay their eggs or give birth."Shark Babies - Kidzone.
