My name is Isabelle, I'm 20 years old and I'm originally from Mainz.
I was a mentee last year and found that the programm helped me a lot during my first year at Leuphana, so I wanted to become a mentor myself. We mainly met to do fun activities, but it was also nice to have a person to ask all the questions that came up in the first semester. 
In my free time, I like to go to the gym on campus (Studio 21), meet up with friends, read or watch TV, or try out (new) vegan recipes.

I also studied abroad in Montana (USA) for a year, and thereby became a "freemover" in the ENVI programme.

my name is Joy, I'm 20 years old and from a small town near cologne.
In my free time, I love meeting up with friends on the Mensawiese, at cooking, game or movie nights. But I also accumulate quite a few hours in the library during the week...
In the summer, I did a couple of temp jobs as an extra at Rote Rosen.
Aside from that, I'm passionate about green activism and initiatives like the Book Club Sandwich.
I am looking forward to meeting you and perhaps spending an evening cooking together. But don't worry, unlike the methods lecture, I won't teach you how to cut onions!

I'm Sophia, 19 years old and originally from a small town close to Ulm. I love currys of any kind, yoga, "Wellenlesen" by Luise Morgeneyer and strolling through "Lüni" - even though Northern Germany's weather definitely isn't my fav ;). 
Looking back on my first semester I remember being thrilled about the new "chapter" but also being overwhelmed by a lot of things. That's why I'd be happy to help you have the best start into your uni life - through passing on what I have learned (even though I still feel a little lost at times ;)) but also exploring what Lüneburg has to offer and just having a fun time together !

I am 23 years old and just came back from my year abroad in Utrecht. Although I am thinking a lot about how to approach life (and academics), I have a generally optimistic view on this stuff and I will be happy to provide you with a little guidance since I've already made some experiences with Leuphana. People describe me as calm which is, I think, because I listen and process quietly for myself rather than just speaking my mind. Hobbies are reading (newspapers, biographies, philosophy...) strolling through (big) cities and racket sports (tennis, badminton, table tennis... - I am a little competitive :D). I am a quite decent cook, maybe I'll cook some day for you ;)

    Hey everyone :) I‘m Eva, 20 years old, and from a small town in between Hamburg and Hannover. I moved to Lüneburg a year ago and fell in love with the city, so in you want to explore the center, get to know the best vegan restaurants or go out for Sprittwoch, I‘m always ready. In my free time I also love trying out new courses at the Hochschulsport, meeting up with friends to cook or watch a movie or taking a walk through nature, for example at the Teufelsbrücke.     I'm Milena, 22 years old. I'm an Irish-German hybrid but mainly grew up in Bonn. And I'm super excited to be a part of the mentoring program, so here's a little something about me :)
    I just came back from spending two semesters abroad, one in Spain, one in Dublin. I'm an avid hockey player, New Girl fanatic, and I enjoy spending all my money on fantastic food, cheap drinks and old books and cameras. My friends have described me as a "walking gender crisis" and "shockingly short". 
    I'll never forget my first semester.
