my name is doğu görkem şirin, and as you can see from the title of this thread, i study at türk telekom social sciences high school (and yes, i am a 9th grader like everybody else here).

i don't have that many interests, but i believe the ones i do have are preeeeetty cool. i like linguistics, chemistry, history and a few other things that i couldn't think of right now. i also really enjoy doing stuff such as drinking a good cup of clove tea with alternative rock music playing in the background on a sunday evening (yes, this is actually a part of my routine).

i have been studying linguistics for years now, even as a child, and i think i am at the level of a native when it comes to speaking. dunno if i can say the same about my knowledge of english grammar, but hey, everybody has pros and cons.

i believe i will have a lot of fun contributing to this project, and hope that i'll be of use! ^_^
