         <description><![CDATA[<div>As of 2020, the population of Japan is 125.8 million. Despite its high population number, it also has a very high amount of older citizens living there, which, due to them eventually passing away, will lead to an estimated halfway decrease in population.<br>The capital of Japan is Tokyo, and the main religions there are Shintoism and Buddhism.<br>This country is best known for its advanced technology and culture, which has bled into other parts of the world.
