Eid in Arabic means ‘Feast’ or ‘Festival’, and ‘Al-Fitr’.

We celebrate Eid Al-Fitr directly after the holy month of Ramadan, and it marks the start of when we can eat and see the sun at the same time.
Anyway, third day of eid I and my friends went out for shopping and have fun together , we was wearing a beautiful dresses , we had a nice dinner together, its was a good day.

Second day of eid , I and my family went out for eat a lunch , we had a great lunch from Cheesecake Factory restaurant, then we went to garden and it was a nice day for me.

First day of eid , was a very nice day , I and my family wake up in the morning and we had fist breakfast after one month, then we get ready for family gathering, we had a lunch together, then we went out for have some fun with my cousins.

Hi! i`m Yaqeen Saeed a fifteen years old student from Bahrain. In these days all Muslims around the world are celebrating Eid Al fittir , so we went on a family trip to Scotland.

13 June
it was the first day of the big celebration. It was kind of weird to spend the Eid far from our family and friends and because of that we felt lonely and outlanders in Scotland. Suddenly , things got exiting and we went to different places there that felt so cool, we really enjoyed our time and forgot about being far from home. Eventually, celebrating Eid in another county is a great experience and it broke the habit and things we do every year

Today is the first day of Eid, from the beginning of this day, I knew that it would be the best day. I went with my family to perform the prayer in the mosque, it is the Eid prayer. After finishing, we went to celebrate Eid with the family and relatives, we all gathered in my grandfather's house. After we finished, my father took us to a new Chinese restaurant, it opened in our city a few days ago and we had a lot of fun and the place was wonderful. The lighting was attractive and the décor was simple and lovely. Really, I enjoyed the day and wished the rest of the Eid days would be this beautiful

Saturday 15 July
My dad took us to a new Chinese restaurant. The place looked really nice. I loved the colour of the walls. The lighting and the decorations were wonderful, too, There were ditferent types of dishes on the menu, but I don't like Chinese food, so I ordered a beef burger, fries and cola. My family enjoyed their meals. Nothing left in the dishes. When leaving, to my surprise, dad promised the waiter another visit.

About me:
Hi! I am Malak and I am a student in secondary school in Muharreq city, Bahrain. I write about my existing things that happened to me in the Eid as I love to commemorate these pleasant situations.

The first day of the Eid :
Firstly, I went with my family to my grandparents' house and greeted them and they gave me the feast. Moreover, My friends and I decided to go to a luxury mall ( Avenues) to have fun together. We went window shopping around the mall and I got a nice white shirt that I wore it immediately.Then , we had dinner in the food court. Unfortunately, I spilled ketchup over my new shirt!. I felt bad at first but I didn't care after that and I tried to enjoy at the rest of the day. In addition, we joined the celebration that was held in the mall. Finally, we entered the cinema to watch the lates movie.

went to Bahrain National Museum. Isaw great paintings which.made me so excited. I also met some tourists and talked to them about the paintings and drawings in the museum. I saw how much they were excited while watching the beautiful things there. I really enjoyed my time at the museum and felt how important to see the paintings and drawings as they are in reality and not just in books.

Eid al-Fitr prayer consists of two- rak’ah`s , as for its time, it begins after sunrise for about a quarter of an hour, where the imam and worshipers say seven takbeerat in the first rak’ah, and in the second they say five takbeerat.

There are desirable sunan during Eid such as taking shower and putting perfume before going to pray, well dressed, eating before going to pray and going to the mosque from a certain road,and returning from different road.

There are many festivals of Eid and differe from one country to another, in terms of customs and traditions associated with this occasion, However, the most common can be summarized as follows: Wear clean, beautiful and new clothes. Prepare different varieties of desserts and cake.Decorate mosques, streets and houses, with beautiful and colorful decorations. Visiting relatives and neighbors, and sharing Eid greetings with them.

Today is the best day ever in the year , as it's the first day of Eid . It comes after Ramadan and all Muslims enjoy it . We prayed Eid together . I spent all time with my lovely family. It was a very nice time . We had the breakfast together and took some money from our grandfather and grandmother called "edyia". I saw all my family that I haven't seen for a long time . I was very happy when I so all of them happy and smily. It's the greatest feeling . I enjoyed a lot and I know now the great value of that family.

God commanded us to keep fast till the end of Ramadan month and we should pay "Zakat al Fitr" before performing Eid prayers, we should add to our information that it is forbidden to fast on the first day of Eid.

In conclusion, at Eid al Fitr we should keep going early for prayer, showing happiness, giving as much to charity as possible. In fact Eid al Fitr is a joyous occasion with important religious significance.
