I used this picture because its also a reflection on Jeannette feeling alone and all by herself. The quote I used because it shows Jeannette finally speaking back to her mother and embracing her disappointment in her for being terrible. She had spent most of her childhood trying to not disappoint her parents but they ended up just disappointing her.

I used this image because it represents an unconditional love where the two always had issues but the love for eachother never leaves. The quote was used because she never is going to stop loving her dad but she is aware that she has to get away from him and throughout her childhood she hasn't left her parents because she truly loved them a lot.
