         <description><![CDATA[<p> A Smart Board is a high-tech tool that can be used as a powerful tool to support STEM instruction and learning.  It is an interactive board that lets teachers and students touch, write, and move things directly on the screen (Prior, 2024). In STEM instruction, it supports hands-on learning by displaying simulations, videos, virtual labs, and interactive lessons that bring concepts to life. It encourages inquiry-based learning by letting students test ideas, manipulate data, and collaborate during problem-solving activities. Smart boards engage diverse learners through visuals, motion, and audio which includes students who benefit from visual aids, kinesthetic activities, or group work (Prior, 2024). It helps make STEM lessons more accessible, engaging, and student-centered. In STEM learning, they support inquiry-based instruction by letting students explore questions, gather data, run virtual experiments, and collaborate on projects in real time. These tools support diverse learning needs by offering text-to-speech, visual aids, and hands-on digital activities that help all students engage especially those who need accommodations or learn better with multimedia support. Their portability also allows students to learn anywhere which allows STEM to be more accessible, interactive, and personalized (Elmore, 2025). </p>]]></description>

Manipulatives make abstract ideas like measurement, geometry, or engineering design more concrete and visual. It supports inquiry-based learning by allowing students to quickly capture their thoughts, questions, and findings as they explore STEM concepts. This tool benefits students with learning differences, such as dyslexia or fine motor challenges (Understood, n.d.). It helps remove writing barriers and help them fully participate in STEM tasks. In STEM instruction, they support inquiry-based learning by helping students understand and follow the sequence of tasks, such as planning, experimenting, and reflecting. Visual schedules reduce confusion, promote independence, and allow students to focus on exploring and problem-solving (Hume, n.d.). They are helpful for students with autism, ADHD, or anxiety, as well as English Language Learners because it provides structure and predictability. In STEM instruction, it can be used to support students in accessing complex informational texts, science stories, or biographies of STEM figures without being limited by reading levels. Audiobooks support inquiry-based learning by helping students gather background knowledge, follow along with STEM concepts, and ask meaningful questions based on what they hear (Primary Paradise, 2021). For students with fine motor challenges, a pencil grip can reduce frustration and increase independence (Wood, 2024).
