1. As most logos will convey only a small part of your branding and what industry you are in, it might be similar to competitors.

2. A Logo is meant to be used as a quick identity of your brand, on letters, on websites, on collaterals. You can only fit so much information in a logo before it becomes a mess, thus it does not provide sufficient information on your brand such as your brand values, brand ethics and other key features of your brand.

1. The logo might face challenges of not being memorable to the consumer's eyes. Allowing many brands to be easily forgotten.

2. Thinking from a consumer's point of view, just by looking at a logo itself does not make me want to buy merchandise from the brand. You may have a nicely designed logo but just by the visuals alone, you won't be able to understand the brand story, values or tone that the brand is trying to convey.

1. Visual attributes can be shared between different brand logos, this can result in commonality or even confusion. Even with slogans to stand out differently, it might face difficulty delivering its message on smaller platforms (eg. visibility issues on mobile phones).

2. A logo will always remain as just a 'sur-FACE' (pun intended) of a brand. It's difficult, and in most event, impossible, to deliver the full values or attributes of the brand (i.e. purpose, value, mission, vision, target audiences etc)

1. It is hard to make the logo distinctive compared to the thousands of logos out there. The logo must be adaptive and able to be used on print, web, collaterals etc.
2. A logo itself cannot show the brand’s tone of voice, USP or the deeper values of what the brand stands for.
