After teaching in a pandemic I had to really learn to give myself and my students grace as things are constantly changing. Sometimes things don't go according to plan and I had to learn to readjust plans as needed. Community and respect is very important in my classroom. My students know that we can have fun and goof around, but my expectations are high and we will be working hard. I have also learned that my classroom does not have to be perfect, as long as my students needs are being met, thats all that I really care about.
