He often touches on the problems with the environment, pushing for more sustainability. Many of his posts also consist of poking fun at the current state of politics in America. However despite his humorous tone he is also not afraid to call people out, which is a good attribute to have when being an opinion writer. Weekly, Manjoo also hosts a twitter live where the past week he touched on the impact of iPads. His character when conducting the live feed could be observed where he was very casual but also knowledgeable and experienced about the topic.  He also retweets many of NYC Times articles which promotes the other writes on his platform as well as his own. Many of the times he takes a break from opinionating others and voices his random thoughts throughout the day.
