I teach a youth pom squad at the dance studio where I grew up. Over the past few weeks we have been going over pom motions and dance skills, however some girls in the class are unfamiliar with the things we are doing or they just simply make a mistake. In dance it's extremely noticeable if one person is different from the other in the motions that they are doing, so these girls are using Active Learning very effectively to correct themselves when they make a mistake. 
2. This past week my math course has had a few issues over ecourseware. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday my Psychology class meets over zoom to go over that days lesson. My psych professor is extremely constructive in the way that she has laid out our class because before we ever meet for zoom we are assigned the notes for that days class to go over. This makes our zoom class really just a review of what we have already learned and just gives a chance to ask questions!
2. This class is another great example of constructive learning. The assignments in this class are always extensions of the things that we have studied and learned. IDT is also one of my examples for cooperative learning because of the way that we have to respond to our peers discussion boards. This really takes a deeper meaning to online courses because we are actually interacting with other students in the course besides just doing our work individually and turning it in just to have it done. 
2. My second example is also about how my EDRP class uses discussion boards to connect with fellow students, however it is a little different in the fact that it is not necessarily a place for questions and things to be asked but more so just to say hi and this is a great thought!

IDT has a great example of an authentic learning environment. The question is always asked about how I have experienced this in my own life and was this experience poor or good. While we don't always respond back to these questions it's nice to know that someone wants us to actually reflect on our experiences in education. 
2. One of my classes is for special education and they really do a great job of explaining to us that what we are learning in that class can be used today, we don't have to wait until we're in classroom to use these lessons and skills. Teaching dance is very intentional for both me and the girls that I am teaching. We are always working towards a goal, whether it's a skill or team that they are trying to make. Our goals are always our number one focus. 
2. I am very intentional about using a planner and following along with my schedule for school. I really like to have assignments done early and I am extremely goal oriented in that aspect of having things done before they are due.
