While I must say that I really didn't know much about Steve Jobs, until after reading the articles and watching the videos; I think he will be one of the top CEO's in history. From his work with PIXAR and of course Apple, making it to what it is today, there is no doubt in my mind.

After reading Chapter 1, I learned about the different skills involved in management and how they are used throughout the business hierarchy. It made me wonder what the corporate structure is like at my company and how some of the skills these people have are backwards. I also actually enjoyed reading about the career cycles. I can see in myself where I am now, and I even look at other people in my company and can see where they are at this point in their life. Overall, I did learn quite a few things, but it was not necessarily exciting to read.

I have taken numerous quizzes in my lifetime, they are usually cut and dry, you can find the direct answer right out of the book. But I seemed to learn a little more when I was given the scenario questions. I am looking forward to seeing how this class will help me grow and how it will help out in the workplace.
