         <title>D-Day: The Normandy Invasion</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>D-Day happened on <strong><mark>June 6, 1944.</mark></strong> On this day, soldiers from the United States, Britain, and Canada landed on the beaches of Normandy, France. Their goal was to stop the Nazis and help free Europe. It was a very big and dangerous mission, but the soldiers were brave. This day helped turn the war around and pushed the Nazis back.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Interesting Fact:</strong> D-Day was supposed to happen on June 5th, but they had to wait a day because of bad weather!</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Source:</strong><br>National WWII Museum, Britannica Kids</p>]]></description>
