He was the last Japanese soldier to surrender in 1974 after more than 34 years keep fight with the American soldiers and Philippines police.
   His mission in Philippines in 1944 is to defend and keep become the intelligence in the Luban island. When the Japanese surrender, he did not believe and think that just a fake news by the America. So he live in the jungle for more than 34 years and kill many Philippines people because think their American soldier.
     In 1974, he was found by the Japan explore. The explore was shock when found him and said to him that the war was end, but he didn't listen and said, “I am a soldier and remain true to my duties.” In March 1974, Suzuki returned with Onoda’s former commander, who officially relieved him of his duties and tell him to surrender and end more than 34 year living in the Luban island forest.
