Their main theory of this particular incident is that the plane was depressurized, and that is why no "goodbye texts" or failed emergency calls were made. This video brings an opinion towards the discussion that was made by the experts, along with the summary of the theories that were mentioned.

Connection : The opinion of the editor of this video clearly states one of the pseudoscience watchlist; Does not progress. The theories that have been discussed by the experts were not new, and the fact that there are no witness to put evidence behind their hypotheses makes connection to the pseudoscience watchlist; Does not progress.

Description : This news briefly analyzes the last words of the pilot (or the co-pilot) has left just before the incident happened. The investigators were to find the changes in their voices, and the news concludes with this theory; that the voice that was left (i.e. "all right goodnight") during the incident seemed to be highly in stress, and therefore, the pilot was somewhat in pressure to act forcefully against his will.

Connection : The act against someone's will is a metaphor to the pilot planning to make the plane crash (more like disappear). This secrecy that may have been made between the unknown and the pilot can make a connection to a red flag; Suppression by authorities. As the people that were involved in the incident have all disappeared, this red flag makes a suitable connection. No one is able to give the rightful evidence, so people may theorize that the government or such group is behind to well-construct this mysterious disappearance (i.e. no witness to step up, making this incident unsolvable).

Description : Not only talking about the incident, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, but it analyzes and makes connection towards other plane disappearance and crashes that was reported in the past. By looking at the solved cases, the news tries to determine how the Flight 370 might have disappeared out of sight, but never concludes the discussion with an opinion.

Connection : This video can possibly connect to red flag, Red herring, because although the topics they discussed are in the same range, it eventually turns off-topic and starts to talk about the listed cases of plane disappearance and crashes. The main reason why it connects to red herring is because the topic of "connecting Flight 370 incidents to others" slowly fades off into only summarizing about number of plane incidents that happened in the past (gives irrelevance to the purpose of the actual topic).
The cases that are dealt also make connection to Proof of verbosity, as the news confirms that the words of the witness plays a significant role in solving a case. According to the news, witnesses have been made during the case of WTA 800, July 17th, 1996, that they saw a fire trail in the sky. This led to theories that it was a missile and terrorism, engine malfunction, and etc. The actual reason happened to be one of the theories that were made from the words of the witness. However, because no witness are present relating to the incident of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, it is hard to find the truth behind its disappearance. Having no proof of verbosity in such incidents like this tends to make limitations, and once again, leads to one of the pseudoscience watchlist; Does not progress.

Description : This article discusses how one man found true evidence by using "Google Maps". According to the article, a plane shaped figure was found nesting among the trees in a forest. As this new evidence shows up, it is stated that some experts take this evidence to back up their theories.

Connection : No one ever knows if this shape of a plane laying in the trees is actually an evidence of the disappearance of the plane. However, as numbers of experts already claim that this evidence supports the mystery of the disappearance and use them to back up their own opinion, it is visible that this can make connection towards Confirmation Bias. As always, when evidence that sounds realistic shows up, people tend to take evidence that makes their thoughts true, in spite of accuracy.
This also shows patternicity. When the shape of a plane was found in Google Maps, people automatically put meaning and connection towards the missing plane of the case of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370.

Description : In this article, two significant theories are dealt
- plane sunk into the depth of the ocean where no one can reach to find
- a suicide-mass murder planned by the pilot.
As the last words were left by the pilot, this article assumes that it was never an accident, and was a planned tragedy.

Connection : This brings out a pseudoscience watchlist; results can't be reproduced or verified. Making connection to the first theory, people are unable to verify if the plane actually sank deep underwater even with modern technology. If the area they assume is known to have severe weather that limits people from exploring, no theory can be verified. Moving on, making connection to the second theory mentioned in the article, no one can come with an evidence to verify that the pilot has actually planned a suicide-mass murder, unless the pilot himself is still alive (which the possibilities are at minimum).

It is clear that they are not able to view from another perspective that the cause of disappearance being a mystery is the limitation in evidence and proof.

Description : As the mystery of Fight 370's disappearance continues on for years, variety of opinions and theories come as a result. One of the theory that can never be excluded is a theory that is connected to the existence of aliens.

Connection : As both are considered a mystery to people, some link the case and aliens as one theory. It is notable that it is unusual for a plane that big to disappear out of sight with not so much evidence. The theory of aliens being the cause of disappearance can connect to a reason for belief, Agenticity. Although aliens are also considered a mystery, people tend to support this theory because a plane vanishing with no trace left behind is as unbelievable and unusual as the existence of aliens. This results a flaw in making accurate opinions because any other side that makes up the theory has no scientific evidence to be a proof.

1. The most thing that surprised me while working on this assignment, was the fact that the Flight 370 has vanished out of sight that had 227 passengers and 12 crews total. It was hard to believe that the size of a plane with that much number of people just disappeared within a two hour of flight, only leaving few pieces that are presumed to be from Flight 370.

2. This is relevant, not only to me but many people that uses planes as transportation worldwide. Although the possibilities of plane crashing or disappearing are considered to be low, it may happen within the low chances. This topic pulled an interest out of me because I personally always worry if the plane might crash. Also because I use the plane once in a while to visit my family from another country, an incident about planes have caught my eyes.

3. I found the research of post #5 most interesting. Although no one knows if this shape of a plane found in Google maps actually links to the disappearance of Flight 370, it is certainly a significant evidence that must be looked into in depth. As the incident has not been solved since 2014, every bit of trace will be a helpful resource to the researchers.

4. The thing I mostly remember from this research is the last words that the pilot left before the incident happened, which was "Good night Flight 370". This would have been the biggest hint that the incident Flight 370 was planned, and was never an accidental disappearance. Also, from post #2, by the fact that no emergency calls or "goodbye texts" were made by the 239 people in the plane, I assume that this case may have been more carefully laid out, so that no witness can come to prove the truth of the happening.

5. From all the pseudoscience belief that I have learned in this course, I believe that Confirmation Bias is the most dangerous out of all, because no stories and opinions can get through if a person only decides to listen and lean on certain words that proves that they are right. This brings limitation in the conversation and perspective of viewing the circumstances that might come forward. The least dangerous pseudoscience belief in my personal opinion is Unexplained, because no one is able to conclude a situation without any evidence gives certainty. I think Unexplained is the most harmless out of all because of how only theories (people's varying opinions) make up this particular reason for belief.

6. The knowledge I would pass on would be skepticism, as not everything out on the internet or real-life can be accurate and true. Instead of being swayed and pulled into someone's opinions and thoughts, I would encourage them to rely on your own thoughts and beliefs before considering to take others. Be skeptical, have doubt on things that does not have certainty.
