I enjoy sports so much and they have helped mold me into the man I am today, and I love them so much I wanted to do something that involved sports everyday. I wanted to submerge myself into a sport lifestyle. Teaching children to enjoy and love the games and sports is a major benefit of my future teaching job. In the book  Effective Instructional Strategies it states that "to be an effective teacher, one must be knowledgable in four areas.... first they must know the content they are teaching" and I have played years competitive basketball, golf, baseball, soccer, football, and self defense and I look forward to using my experience and my funds of knowledge in my teachings with the future generations (2015, Moore). Students need to know what they will be graded on, and how they all be graded. This way they know how to perform. Teachers need to create assessments so they can understand how well their teaching strategies are working, and if they need to change up anything because the strategy may not be working based on the assessments. Here I am teaching in my start up business "PE Pals", where I teach students outdoor socially distant physical education activities. In the book Disciplinary and Content Literacy for Today's Adolescents it states that "teachers need to give multiple opportunities for students to eavesdrop on their thinking while negotiating text", so we have pictures as well as words for the students to look for on our scavenger hunt nature hike (2015, Bronzo). I have them use four different senses "touch, smell, sight, and hearing" to help them comprehend the environment.
