In this biographical drama, the director and main character (Rupert Everett) show us the last year of life of Oscar Wilde, alternating this main plot with flashbacks that help us understand the situation. Everett has nailed the acting, with a flawless representation of the loneliness and the despair of a old, bohemian man addicted to love, pleasure and drugs. Sometimes the plot can look a bit disjointed, as the spectator doesn't know all the information required to comprehend whats happening. A drawback of the film is the use of cliches to portray some situations: For example Bosie had been characterized just to show that he's gay, although it wasn't necessary with Oscar. 7/10
