My favorite assessment site is Seesaw because it allows students to take pictures and videos to share their work. This allows students to be share their knowledge, using their own strengths. I've been using ESLvideo.com for the last few weeks and my students listening skills have increased. I really love the idiom site and have started sharing an "Idiom of the Day" in my classroom. Technology allows students to dig deeper and gain knowledge outside of the curriculum. When teachers use technology to supplement curriculum it can benefit the growth of students critical thinking and understanding of a variety of topics.

Teachers don't always have to allow students to explore the internet to benefit from technology in the classroom. For example, my students don't use the idiom site but benefit from it because I gather information from it to share with them.

Teachers need to be responsible in the manner that they use technology. Previewing sites and making sure students are efficient in their use of education sites or my first two considerations when using technology.
