         <description><![CDATA[<div>Plant life is effected by the conditions of their environments. In the Taiga biome, very few plants are able to grow due to the lack of sunlight and the cold harsh winter.<br><br>Leaves - most trees living in this setting have needle like leaves because it is easier to grow, due to lack of sunlight, and also less energy is made, making smaller leaves.<br><br>Waxing Coating - this helps tree not evaporate from lack of water</div>]]></description>

In the Taiga biome, animals have a select variation of adaptations to better protect themselves in the Taiga environment.<br><br>Migration - certain animals that are sensitive to the cold, travel through migration, to warmer climates.<br><br>Fur - during the harsh winters, many animals change their fur color to match the environment.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> Living in the taiga is cold and lonely. Coldness and food shortages make things very difficult, mostly in the winter. The average temperature is below freezing for six months out of the year. The winter temperature range is -54 to -1° C (-65 to 30° F). The winters, as you can see, are really cold, with lots of snow.<br><br>Temperature range in the summer gets as low as -7° C (20° F). The high in summer can be 21° C (70° F). The summers are mostly warm, rainy and humid. </div>]]></description>
