         <description><![CDATA[<div>The crew on a ship is divided into departments, the most important of which are the Deck department and the Engine department.<br>The Deck department performs navigational duties ,deals with the loading and unloading of cargo and commodities with shore stations and other ships.<br>Departments are organized in hierarchy, at the head of each department there is the First Ofgicer responsable of general running,who in large ships is usually assisted by a lower in ranking Second and Third Officer.<br>In each department there are also a varied number of Ratings,and are classified as Able or Ordinarg Seamen.<br>At the top of all there is the Captain or Master,who is the highest authority on the ship.<br>He has the overall responsability for the ship,her cargo and the safety of the crew.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Master is the person chosen by the shipowner to command the ship.He is the maximum authority on board.<br>His job include technical function that concern the safe navigation of the ship from port to port,and the safety of the ship's crew and cargo.<br>Before leaving port he must make sure thet the ship is seaworthy and properly equiped and that the cargo is stowed safely and securely.<br>As regards his administrative responsabilities, he must make sure that the ship carries all the necessary documentation before leaving port.</div><div>A ship must carry the following papers:</div><ul><li>The Certificate of Registry</li><li>The Bill of Entry or the Bill of Export</li><li>The International Tonnage Certificate</li><li>The International Load Line Certificate</li><li>The Intact Stability Booklet</li><li>The Crew list</li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>HIs the job of the Deck department taht of to see the cargo is stowed  properly in the holds and kept in good condition during the voyage .<br>The ship is commanded by the Captain from the navigating bridge.<br>He work out the best course to safely travel the ship,her crew,cargo and passenger from her port  to her destination.<br>The second is the <mark>Chief Officer</mark>.He supervises ghe deck crew in bothe routine activities and emergencies. In case of fire onboard he ckmmands the ship's fire control team.<br>He is the Officer responsable foe tbe loading and unloading of cargo and he must ensure that the cargo-handling equipment is in order.<br>The <mark>Second Officer</mark> is the next jn rank after the Chief Mate.He is responsable for navigation and he must maintain the charts and plot the routes under the Master supervision.<br>The<mark> third Mate</mark> is not preseng on all the ships,knly in big vessels.He is responsable for life-saving equipment.<br>A <mark>Deck Cadet</mark> has no official responsability.He gets part of his education on the bridge,where he stands watch along with the Chief Officer,who supervise him.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cargk handling is carried out either by the ship's own cargo gear or by shore cranea.<br>Derricks are special shpi's cranea,supported by the samson posts on the ship's deck.<br>They are operated by winches.<br>Derricks,cranes and conveyor belts are commonly used for transfer of dry commodities.<br>Liquids and gases are moved through pipelines.<br>Most tankers discharge cargo with their own installed pumps and they generally carry sufficent cargo hose to connect to receiving terminals.<br>Many container ship are gearless ,they can therefore only load and discharge their cargo gear may consist of cknventional derricks or rotating cranes</div>]]></description>
