Everyone has a different filter on their glasses. Girls like Senna and Sonita definitely have different worldviews than I do personally. However,  they have both expanded how I view the world. They both made me look at the world with more appreciation of what I have been blessed with. Sonita and Senna also helped me reflect on my values. I remember being utterly shocked by the conditions that people were living in just so that people like myself could have a 10 dollar shirt. I couldn't comprehend how unaware people are about issues like fast fashion and the effects it has on unprivileged people. I truly believe that learning about the garment industry really shaped how I look at the world now. I now go into stores looking at tags seeing where products were made. Learning about fast fashion also instilled new values into my life. I now value fairness and humaneness more because of the knowledge that I now have.
