         <title>Digital Literacy </title>

It can be language-based, information-based, connection-based, and redesign-based and professional literacies. All are needed for in today’s digital world for various purposes.</sup></p><p><br/></p><p><strong><mark>Connection to previous experiences:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>The discussion on texting literacy and hypertext navigation connected with my daily digital interactions. I never thought of texting abbreviations or hyperlink usage as "literacies," but now I see how they shape communication.</sup></p><p><br/></p><p><strong><mark>Things that could have been done differently:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>Instead of just reading about digital literacies, an interactive module—like a experimental social media task or online research project including examples of how misinformation spreads—could make the concepts more tangible and engaging.</sup></p>]]></description>

It's about being a good "citizen" in digital platforms, just as I would be in my physical community.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Connection to previous experiences:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>I connect this with my experiences of  pandemic time (2019); when it became crucial to be a good </sup><em><sup>good digital citizen </sup></em><sup>since most of us had to move and use the online platforms.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Could have been done differently:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>Role-playing different digital citizen elements, like debating ethical online behavior or designing a secure password strategy, talking on digital content while consciously applying the nine elements of digital citizenship, would likely have deepened their understanding and practical skills.</sup></p>]]></description>

         <title>Technology for Developing Reading Skills</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong><mark>Learning :</mark></strong></p><p><sup>Have known about different websites like ''diffit for teacher'', ''pictochart.ai'' , British council etc, which are very much helpful for improving reading skills. Besides that, I got to know about some tools that are used for realizing reading levels, speech recognition or simply for reading (Kindle, tablet,e-book).</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Connection:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>I am used to some online resources like these . I frequently use different apps and visit websites that are quite similar to the website like 'diffit for teacher.' I use AI, Quibot for text summarization and here github also helps me in the same way.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Could have been done differently:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>Students could have had research on technology for reading and list some most effective wesites and apps. Then indivuduals' selected apps or webs could be shown ,exchanged and the top 5 could have been rewarded.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <title>Blended Learning</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong><mark>My learning: </mark></strong></p><p><sup>Blended learning is basically the process which includes both face-to-face and online learning. There is ambiguity over how much of online and offline learning should be incorporated (experts have talked about different levels of blending).</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Connection:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>Nowadays, almost every institution and student are having their education through blended learning sytem. No difference for me as well. At this stage and also in all of my previous courses, online and face-to-face learning has been incorporated where tasks, assignments, presentations, materials were given to Google Classroom in addition to face-to-face instructions.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Could have been done differently: </mark></strong></p><p>Observing two or three classes, students could have made a report on the ratio of integrating online and face-to-face instruction.</p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong><mark>My learning: </mark></strong></p><p><sup>Gamification is_ using game elements in learning, while serious games are used to practice, train and provide solutions. Another type of game is 'massively multiplayer online games', which goes under gamification, and these are very much entertainment-based and effective in language learning.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Connection:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>I had been using the app "Duolingo" for a long time. While practicing, attention and interest got increased by the gamified elements those are used in the app.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Could have been done differently: </mark></strong></p><p><sup>We could have been taught through a serious game in one or two class and told to design some creative gamified models or elements.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <title>Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong><mark>My Learning:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>AR is Augmented Reality, which overlays digital images and information onto the real world, such as through a phone camera. VR is Virtual Reality, which creates a completely immersive, computer-generated environment that a person can enter using a headset. Both are used in entertainment, education, and professional training.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Connection:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>I have used AR before when playing a game like Pokémon GO, where the characters appear in my real-world surroundings. I also have some experience with VR from a gaming center where I tried a headset and was transported into a different world.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Could have been done differently:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>The class could have had a practical session where students could try out different AR apps on their phones and then get a chance to experience a few educational VR simulations. </sup></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

It is used to understand language patterns and word usage. It’s different from traditional grammar rules and based on real-world </sup><a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://examples.It"><sup>examples. It</sup></a><sup> helps learners see how words are actually used in context.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Connection</mark>:</strong></p><p><sup>This concept is similar to how I found the meaning of new vocabulary as a child. I'd hear a word multiple times in different conversations or stories and slowly figure out its meaning and usage. The frequent exposure to the word in various contexts was my personal, small-scale corpus.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Could have been done differently:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>We could have been given access to a simple corpus and a specific task. Maybe it could be finding common synonyms words or seeing how a phrases are used in academic writing versus casual conversation. </sup></p>]]></description>

They can make language learning more authentic and engaging by providing a space for real-world communication. Teachers can use them for sharing materials, creating group discussions, and exposing students to a variety of English spoken globally.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Connection:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>I often use social media myself and see this in practice. I follow several English-speaking influencers and pages, which helps me encounter new phrases and slang naturally. It can analyze large texts (doc/pdf) quickly and help with things like text summarization, content generation, and providing instant feedback on assignments.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Connection</mark>:</strong></p><p><sup>I frequently use AI in my own work. I use it to summarize long articles to get the main points quickly and to brainstorm ideas when I'm feeling stuck. It helps me save time and gives me a starting point for my thoughts.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Could have been done differently:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>The class could have had a workshop where we were given a specific project, like writing an essay or a report, and then were asked to use different AI tools to assist us with each stage(from research to drafting and editing) and then compare the quality with each other.</sup></p>]]></description>

Language Learning, was about using computers for drills and grammar exercises.Technology-Enhanced Language Learning is a modern approach that integrates diverse tech, like apps, social media, and AI and have created a easier and collaborative learning experience.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Connection:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>I have used both approaches. I recall using older software with repetitive quizzes and games, which was very CALL-focused. Now, I use language apps and online forums, which are part of TELL.</sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Could have been done differently:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>We could have been asked to analyze two platforms, one representing the old CALL model and one representing TELL. Then we could have created a presentation highlighting the specific features and benefits of each for different learning styles.</sup></p>]]></description>

Different from Automated Marking Tools, LIFT gives specific feedback on language use and style. Marking tools simply provide a score. </sup></p><p><br></p><p><strong><mark>Connection:</mark></strong></p><p><sup>I have used Grammarly to check my essays for a long time.
