He was born into a family of eight children of him being the fourth child born. Mario has a total of six brothers and one sister. Mario father Pedro Moreno had a job of an impoverished postal carrier. While Mario mother Maria de la Soledad Reyes Guizar was a stay at home parent. Mario father Pedro Moreno hoped the best future for his son Mario. Mario didn't really have any interested in education he was more found of street performances. At the age of fifteen Mario parents sent him to a government agricultural school but within nine months Mario ran away from school to Japala on the pacific shore to join a carpa. Which is a Mexican show text where street actors performed at which is when his acting career began. However Mario knew his family would disapprove of the whole career so he began to look for stage names.
