This video was captured, from a land which belongs to the Wurundjeri and Wathaurong people, the traditional owners of this land, I would like to thank them all because of them we are able to stay and use this land and it is our duty to protect this land without causing any harms to it.
Wominjeka!
In this video, I captured a small lake near to my house. It is home to numerous sea gulls, aquatic plants, and ducks that are extremely protective of their habitat. I tried to thoroughly immerse myself in the lake's atmosphere as I followed Dadirri. so that I could adequately hear the sounds of the animals, the slow-moving breeze, the water flowing in the lake, and the few moments of silence. That is the concept of 'inner, deep listening and quiet, still awareness'(Ungunment 2017).

I made an effort to maintain my composure and take in the silence so that I could use all of my senses and have a better experience. I kept my eyes wide open to take in everything around me, my nose perked up to smell the aquatic plants and the damp soil surrounding the lake, and I used my hands to feel the cool, crisp feel of the green grass beneath my feet.

Due to the wind's force, the birds flying around in search of food, and the sea gulls flying and changing directions with the wind, the water in the lake moves in a certain way. Around the tranquil lake, I can hear a faint rustle from the big trees that are standing tall.
The lake and its surrounds are secure and suitable for educational purposes; in the future, I can include taking kids on field trips to provide them with sensory learning opportunities. it would be really beneficial for kids to let them explore, create their own stories and observations, much like I did when I watched the birds and listened to the sounds, etc. I would constantly encourage them to go on their own, distinct adventures.

Walking by the nature

I experienced smelling many things, seeing and observing various things, and hearing various things while I walked by the lake. The sounds of my own feet on the ground and grass, the peaceful wind, the rustling of the leaves, and the joyful flow of the lake's water have all been included in one tape. For inspiration for my original response, It turned to the Indigenous concept of place thought walk. With keeping in my mind, the 'notion that the land is animate...and the humans and non-humans derive agency through the extensions of these thoughts',(Hamm 2015, pp.57-58).
With reflecting the concept of deep listening inspired by Murray Chafer and Pauline Oliver, during my country visit I meditated to listen deeply and connect with place and place thought (Oliverous, n.d).
I had always heard that it is important to get outside and breathe in some fresh air, but it is really hard to find a lake which is surrounded by less people so that I can actually feel what the nature looks like and sounds like. Finally, I made my way through and experienced it. Undoubtedly, Now I can say that this is true, as I was completely enthralled by it and did not want to leave. It was such a tranquil trip that I now frequent the location, as described in the previous post. I would always attempt to bring the kids here with me because my mind became so quiet and clear after coming here. For children it can be the great experience because they can do several things with the nature. For example- collecting several kinds of leaves to display in the nature corner of the room or by painting them and giving a impression on the paper. Secondly, I will also encourage them to collect several kinds if rocks around so that they can talk about their size and texture. Lastly, to make it more interesting I can also organize a small picnic for kids on lake side to make them realize that the nature is extremely beautiful.
