I would want more powerful AI tools to be out of reach from the public and should be restricted to less powerful tools. I think the government should be the ones regulating the use of how AI is being used by people.

I say that they should because they are the ones who have the highest power than the people, so if the people have issues the government will have to address it and change things for the benefits of themselves.

I think the government should get involved because people fall for AI now and AI will just become harder to detect what's real and what isn't, so I think the government should regulate it.

i even wonder how AI was created, and these companies create it so they won't have to figure out customer problems on their own. if the government was involved it would probably turn into a world wide thing shutting down AI, but I'm pretty sure they would try and say something against their community lines to prevent them from "vanishing"

Sort of? They are taking jobs for people that deal with tech. But the government itself probably uses tech. It means more money for them and they aren't doing anything about it.

I think they are responsible for the problems because we shouldn't have people killing them self over AI I don't see the reason in that and why they haven't made a change when more people could die in the next months years even weeks because of AI

The government should get involved, just in case if things get out of hand. AI companies should be held responsible for the problems, because they are the ones who released it, They should've been prepared for negative outcomes of AI.

Yes the government should step in, these companies only care about their products and releasing things without knowing the impact it has and the government should put regulations so that people are protected.
