- During the play time/exploration, talk about playing nicely/using the materials and resources properly and carefully (otherwise, materials/resources and toys can be broken/finished and maybe they won't have the opportunity to play with anymore).

- During the free reading time (they choose and handle the books) show them how to use them without tearing or ruining the books. If it breaks, someone who wants to read it later won't have it.
- Play safe. Play respectfully, without hurting the colleague, without throwing toys so they don't break.
