https://insta-stalker.com/profile/winterfestivaloflights/
This is the official instagram page of the Winter Festival of lights. It is used to showcase what the festival looks like and also depicts the atmosphere of the festival. They posted updates to their viewers on what was available to them and when events were happening. This page is a great way for people to see why they should come while also making the festival seem more professional than just a volunteer run program, which it is. The page built up a strong following considering it was only up for two months. For social media to have an impact on the festival, having an official page for it is the first step in it becoming successful online.

https://youtu.be/YGBW_BSHepc
This is a video reviewing the festival for the viewers to see what they can expect as the festival opens next yea. This showcases the quality of the work put into the festival and the quality of the light spectacle. This covers much of the same stuff as the official Instagram page of the festival as it is also made by the festival as well. The video is very lively and is reflective of the image that they want to portray to their target audience as well as showing that it is a good experience for families to take part in.

https://twitter.com/winterfestival?lang=en
This is the official twitter page of the festival. It does an excellent job at keeping people aware of the activities and has continually been posting after the event finished in order to keep people engaged. This represents a spirit that the season has and how that spirit can be maintained all year long. It matches up well with the other pages but does not have as many visuals to display the benefits of the festival. They go with the theme of Twitter and use more words than images because of the platform, rather than the theme of the event. This is a smart tool as it engages the people who use Twitter more than it would if they used pictures like they would on photo sharing platforms like Instagram.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BtUEZGrlaW0/
This is a picture taken at the event to promote the final day of the festival. This is a great use of the social media tool in order to draw people in to the festival so that they do not miss out on the final day of the year for the festival. This picture also depicts a woman taking a picture with her daughter which shows that it is a family friendly event and that it is a great place to make memories with the whole family. They also used plenty of hashtags so that they can reach more people and so that the post will be seen by people who are looking for things like "#wow" and "#fun".

https://twitter.com/winterfestival?lang=en
This is a Twitter post by someone who went to the event and wrote a review on the festival. He included a clever caption for the post calling it "glowing" because the light show was so good. This aligned with the appeal that the creators of the festival is trying to give off as it drew in people from all over to see it and had people posting about it online, giving it free advertising. The tweet that included the blog post review was even shared on the official Niagara falls review forum, " niagarafallsreview.ca "

https://www.facebook.com/winterfestivaloflights/
The official Facebook page of the winter festival of lights is very much a mixture of the other social media elements. They incorporate the pictures that are posted on Instagram, the live news that the Twitter has, and the videos that they have on the YouTube channel. The header of the page is a time lapsed video of the light show. This immediately draws attention to the spectacle of the event while also advertising and promoting the event. They have also posted times, directions and locations of the light shows.

This Facebook post is showing that the festival is trying to keep attention to it year round by advertising that they have lights set up for St. Patrick's Day. This shows off the ability they have for making a great light show, while also showing support for a holiday. Having the waterfalls green, shows that they want people to see the work that they do and that they want the attention on them. This relates to the other elements as it relates to them keeping up to date with live events. The image was also posted onto Facebook so that the viewers can see it on various platforms as well.

https://www.niagaraparks.com/events/event/winter-festival-of-lights/
This blog post is far more simple than the other aspects of the elements. They have very minimal writing, with one display picture, however, they have the main theme of the event mentioned. The blog focuses on the "glow" of the event while showing Canadian pride with an image of an Inuktitut. This also highlights that they are preparing on the next years festival and that they already have the dates set which goes along with the other elements focusing on keeping up on current events year round. Additionally, they have a blog about the featured illuminations for the next festival, as well as the one from the previous festival.

Falls View Water Park Blog Review of The Winter Festival of Lights

https://www.fallsviewwaterpark.com/blog/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-niagara-falls-winter-festival-of-lights/
This is a clear indication of a partnership between the Water park and the festival. This is a good tactic for the hotel as people will come to Niagara Falls to see the festival, and need a place to stay, so they talk about how they can enjoy the festival while staying at the hotel. This is very different than the other elements as it is more of a business strategy from the hotel's point of view. However, the message given is very similar, it is not posted on a typical social media platform, but on a reviews forum for the website. They talk about everything that guests need to know about the festival and again, includes stunning visuals of the festival.
