1. Do you know if a project like this already exists?
In India there is a brand known as Doodlage which work in domain of per-consumer and post-consumer waste of fabric with Indian Embroidery. the only difference between my business model and this brand is that i want to work with denim textile and with repairing(repair cafe) of old clothes in new with touch of India handcraft.

2. Is it legally allowed to develop this project?
Yes, this project is legally allowed to develop.

3. Do you think that this project contributes to the transition to a circular economy or is it an example of doing business as usual?
Yes, definitely this project contributes to the transition to a circular economy since I am coming in market to sell clothing so definitely it a business.

4. What do you see as the potential impact of this project (both positive and negative)?
since this project have both positive and negative potential impact, use of per and post consumer waste of denim with Indian embroidery will definitely help in circular fashion and repairing of old clothes will develop emotional value in consumer and develop social value toward society of embroider.
its just making successful business in circular fashion might be difficult because of fast fashion and choice of market place such as India

5. What other type of feedback do you have for me?
Repairing of old clothes may not be successful in country like India because repairing of old clothes with expensive hand embroidery might not be affordable to everyone and people would prefer to purchase new clothes instead of old clothes being get repair so In country like India using the concept of old clothes being repair, use different strategies to make successful circular economy.

What are the long-term effects of your business?
The long term effect of this project is reduction of denim waste and longevity of old clothes with repairing the clothes, will last longer than previous.
since we have read in this course that if we can extend the life of clothes by 9 months only we could reduce carbon, water and waste footprint by around 20-30% so I guess that will be a great achievement for startup brand.
design for minimal waste
design for cyclability
design for durability
working on all three principle of design for circulating(design for future) my brand will be an example and inspiration for other to contribute toward slow and flow fashion rather than fast fashion.

How does your project affect the (local) environment, does it contribute to CO2 reduction?
A single pair of jeans, on average, emits 34 kg of CO2 to be produced, similar to taking a car and driving for 111 km. If my brand use denim textile waste as its raw material and sell 40 pair of denim in a year then 40*34=1360 kg of CO2 will not be emitted in environment.
so on an average my brand will be contributing in reduction of CO2.

Who is impacted by your project, what are the trade-offs?
The impact of this project will be social consciousness and emotional attachment toward embroiders and the trade-off will be between costumers and embroiders.

When in time will you reach your objectives and is your impact lasting?
My brand may need a time of 1 to 2 years to establishes in market and definitely my brand impact will be lasting if hits in the market and among costumers.

How does your impact relate to your transactions?
The denim waste will be purchased from the denim waste factory and working with embroider to created new design.
working on a small level to see weather this project is feasible or not if this will work then working at large level.
Yes this project is financially feasible without external funding.
earlier also i have talk about since I am coming in market to sell something so the purpose is obliviously to do business so definitely the impact of this project will affect the my business in some or the other way.
