Modernism was like trying to find the one for all. Equity among all but to do that they had to unify everything and the postmodernists were like nah we are not equal and power being monopolised for the better is still power monopolised. And they came to accept that it was an all for one. We existed at the same time at the same place and that is that. Period. You are you. I am me. Power is just going to be transferred and for you to indulge a better normal you have to have outsiders (non-male, non-white, non-heterosexual). Postmodernists didn’t care. They were just enjoying the ride.
