PhotoShopping should be banned because for a lot of people especially women who are known for bad self-esteem and see beautiful (fake) women on social media when they don’t think their beautiful they way they are and even some women change themselves to look better than they already do, some women put on fake nails, fake lashes, fake hair (wigs), and put on a lot of makeup to hide thereself and some women get plastic surgery and that's okay for some stuff but there some women who wants everything to look more pretty, so what i'm trying to say is every women should be natural.

Now, I think photoshopping should be allowed for food advertisements because that’s how people sell their products and make money but at the same time you should be truthful for what your selling but in some cases you need to edit your advertisements to make money for what your selling, so my point is yes for food advertisements it shouldn’t be band.

the images don’t actually promote the youth to look a certain way, and nor do they encourage 

teenagers to spend all their money to look good and get plastic surgeries done.

Kids don't Need to think about what they look like and what their weight is, so looking at an ad with 

photoshopped images should not affect them, but for teens they might think that's how people are 

supposed to look. In different countries like france it's the law for you to say it's a photoshopped 

image if it is photoshopped so teens and adults would not have to worry about looking like them.

For example: if you ever looked at someone with or without makeup like cardi b before with and 

without makeup you would see a big difference in their 

facial features. Or if you ever seen a photoshopped image before and after there will always be 

those tiny details. Maybe they will smooth the skin more, or they will change the background image, 

Or even maybe the size of their body.

This should tell people that not everybody not everything you see is real or fake photoshopping 

just promotes you you to buy there item or even to look better

Our products are strong, our spokespeople are proud, and we can just be out there in the world celebrating our beauty, using the products to put our best face forward, without the help of computers.”

Also, photo editing tools can change a person’s image in the media to look thinner, and this can lead to readers having unreasonable expectations of a “perfect” body. 

“The ubiquity of these unrealistic and highly idealized images has been linked to eating disorders and body image dissatisfaction in men, women, and children”, according to the National Centre For Biotechnology Information (NCBI).

Finally, photo editing tools discourage artistic creativity. A professional photographer should be able to be creative and artistic with their photos by playing with colour, angles, and lighting, not use photoshop. According to ListLand, “People love going to art museums because they can see something new and creative. This is not something that has been constant with Photoshop. The creative attributes are fun, but not truly artistic. A good photographer can work with angles and colors to get the right picture, not with Photoshop. It is important to realize the difference between true artistic talent, and someone playing on their computer.”

 Photoshop should not be banned from advertisements.  A lot of companies that use them would fall apart for example  if a hair dye  company used red hair and let's say the photographer screwed up the angle they wanted or the lightning was off they could quickly fix the lighting with photoshop. They could also fix the positioning of the model and if they were not allowed to use photoshop it would look awful and no one would buy their product.

My proof is the video of the guy talking about photoshop and he talks about how he felt. He also talks about his experiences with it. This also helps companies improve their sales for their products this also helps for there social media as in advertising or trending.

Photoshop also benefits other  companies like camping ground ones for example let's say they have a beautiful view of a sun set on a beach and the water polluted they could use photoshop and make it look good and not ugly. Or what about movie advertisements they use photoshop for the cover of their movies or on big billboards if they were banned a lot of movies would flop over because they would have no advertisements with the movie cover. For example look at this photo of an avengers movie here's the cover for an advertisement then a still image from the movie if photoshop was banned and you tell me which one looks better.

We also need to remember all the people getting paid doing all the photoshop as their job if we ban photoshop a lot of those people who studied hard and spent there college/university money to get there degree in photoshop and if we just take it away from them all their hard work and money would all just go to the garbage can and if this is maybe this is a parents job and it gets banned they could lose their job.

Conclusion 

So in conclusion I think photoshop should not be banned because people could lose their jobs and movies and shows could flop over. 

Photoshop has been being used for a long time now and it's been getting a littles out of hand. When people make ads most people think that the ads they make aren't good enough when they don't use photo shop. When those people use photo shop people don't get the product the ad was meant to show. Over time people start to lose money real quick for ads that aren't even true. Yes, photo shop can be used for certain reasons like grocery ads etc. But when anything where it goes to the point where people are scamming other people for things that aren't even true, that's stepping over the line. Don't use photo shop for scamming. Use photo shop for good reasons only if you have to.

Photo editing should be banned for advertising because editing the photo of the product you are selling is basically lying to the customers and everyone knows it’s not good to lie. Think about what if you are buying something and the photo of that product shows that it's so good but the photo was edited to make the product look good won’t you be disappointed when you actually use the product? Something that people should do is to make that product the same as the ones in their photos so they don’t even need to edit their photos anymore. 

Photoshop should be banned for multiple different reasons. Especially for those women and teens out there who have low self esteem will lower it even more because of what they see on those advertisements. When women see those “ Beautiful girls” on those billboards or even just on commercials all their thinking is why can’t we look like that why can’t we be skinny like that and it goes on and on. Also when people use photoshop and photo editing it can also cause mental health for example an eating disorder for they can look as pretty as those girls or guys they see on their tv’s. It can also lead to anxiety and sometimes maybe also depression as well. So in Conclusion photoshopping & photo editing should be banned from advertisement. 

I do think it should be banned because sometimes a younger audience may be looking up to them. By a chance, the age group would or could be 11+. Most kids and teens scarves Themselves in order to look just like them. Imagine looking up to something and it’s not even true or real.
