         <description><![CDATA[<div>As a newer teacher at The Episcopal Academy one of my favorite characteristics about the school is the freedom and brilliance that has been renewed in the way I deliver curriculum to my students. The BLDS experience has allowed me to integrate technology into many of my language arts units in an interdisciplinary way. Fifth grade is the start of the one to one program so I feel that it is our duty as fifth grade teachers to show students how powerful the use of technology can be! I plan to continue to share my experiences with my colleagues and implement strategies that can be easily replicated in their classrooms. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I plan on continuing my exploration of feedback and how students give and receive assessments.&nbsp; I also hope to use this information as I move into planning my J term class for next year in hopes to use resources here to share our J term content with the larger community. &nbsp; Since our course content is really classroom based (theatre arts), I plan on continuing conversations with my department about how to use these tools to expand beyond the classroom&nbsp;time in meaningful ways.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think speaking honestly about the program and suggesting it to colleagues that are at a stage in their career where they can really dive into the information and use it to their advantage would be the best way to engage colleagues. There are lots of people for whom this course would be overwhelming, but there are also quite a few that could benefit from the inspiration. I think by using the relationships that we already have here at EA to know one another and each other's work to suggest any type of professional development work creates a stronger bond. As such, I plan to share this work with those who I think will be receptive. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After concluding the unit that I am using to model my idea for BLDS, I hope to share results with the other 5th grade math teachers. Hopefully, we can develop other units to utilize some of the strategies. The 1-1 program in 5th grade offers these opportunities and can hopefully allow us to collaborate.</div>]]></description>

Ultimately I am hoping that this project will continue over the years and that even alums will drop in occasionally. Another member of my department has joined in, and I am also thinking of approaching other departments with a connection to Greek (literature, history, art) to join the project too.  </div>]]></description>
