The BLDS experience has allowed me to integrate technology into many of my language arts units in an interdisciplinary way. Fifth grade is the start of the one to one program so I feel that it is our duty as fifth grade teachers to show students how powerful the use of technology can be! There are lots of people for whom this course would be overwhelming, but there are also quite a few that could benefit from the inspiration. I think by using the relationships that we already have here at EA to know one another and each other's work to suggest any type of professional development work creates a stronger bond.
