Why do we need a tech pack?

We need to create a tech pack so that the garment that I’ve designed can be manafcutured and is a starting point for this. It gets the designer to the first stage of manufacturing the garment and will help with offers from different sources about coatings.

This is my LinkedIn profile I have created in my personal development lesson. I still need to add my profile picture to my profile to make my overall profile look professional and so it’s more easier for people to find and recognise me. I am also going to continue to connect with people through this app and this will help me within the industry as knowing connection is very helpful. An example of some people I have connected with are people who have came to the FRA to give us master classes on specific topics so if I have any further questions I can ask and get more information to help with my project and furthermore outside of thus course in the future.

This is my overall result I got from taking the 16 personality test. This test shows which personality you are from various different options. We took this to test so we can see what we could improve on and to help us with our CV making and projects within the course.

My results were that I am a ISFP- T which is in the introvert bracket. One positive feature is that I’m always ready to explore new experiences or something new and I would partly agree with this. The reason why I would partly agree to this is because I do feel like I take new experiences positively and go with the flow even if it’s something completely different and knew and I feel like I’m quite open to trying different things. But on the other hand even though I do go with the flow I feel like inside I may not show it but sometimes are a bit wary with some new things I do especially if there unexpected and not planned.

I went to urban outfitters and i firstly found this top that is a woven corset top and i like the shape and the contrast between the lace and platted design.

Similar to the other top i found in urban outfitters this one is also jersey but i like how this one has the trims and i also like the shape of this top.

I also saw this top in Urban Outfitters and i feel that this is quite similar to the top that i saw in Selfridges as its out of denim and also has panels.

I went into Zara and found this top that is woven to compare with my other tops i found in the different brands and to compare in to my main brand as well.

This is a denim woven garment i found and saw in Selfridges in the section called citizens of humanity. I like the neck line shape on this top as its quite square and boxy.

This is the back of the denim top i saw in Selfridges, i like how there is a zip in the back only half way down which i may consider when designing my top as there needs to be a fastening in the garment as its woven.
