In 4th grade, my teacher gave my class an assignment. We had to create a zoo by cutting shapes out of paper and sticking them to a big poster paper. We got to choose our partners, and after we chose our partners, we received pieces of paper that had requirements for our zoos. We had to make many enclosures for animals, and also make several bathrooms and restaurants. Each enclosure had requirements, for example, a lion enclosure had to be a triangle, and had to have two lions, which we made with small pieces of construction paper. The project took a week, but unfortunately, I was absent on one of the days, so I could not finish the zoo.

The reason why I dislike and like math is that of this. I could say that I was pretty interested in math until 1st grade. I almost was sure every kind of thing that we learned until 1st grade and I liked math.
But this is where it got confusing. Ok, let's say I knew every kind of math symbols until "1st grade." I am not a good quick developing guy so unlike others I totally did not understand what in the world was multiplication and division. That is when my mom went strictly in math. I had to go to an academy that I hated and I had solved many work books. After all of that, I finally understood multiplication. Now one thing I had to go over was division. Until I knew that multiplication is related to division I was truly having a hard time. All that working made be stress out a bit and I started disliking math. But because of all that learning, I got to get to much more harder work. yesterday I learned what factorial is. So yeah, I get to learn new things while doing math so I both like and dislike math.

Last year, I thought I was good at math, and I liked it. One day, my math tudor came to my house and said I will to a test from the easiest to the hardest. At the time I was doing 6~8 grade math so I was confident. But when I got to a part that I haven't practiced for a while I got a lot of it wrong. I was upset. So I told my mom about it and I worked hard on that for about 3 months, I got everything correct. I learned that I have to try everything.

A few months before the end of 4th grade, I started taking a math tutor. It was so boring. I disliked math before, so I really didn't want to do it. There were several pages of homework to do, and they were all questions that you had to do the same thing over and over again. Then, one day, I went to my math academy, and we were learning about prime numbers. The teacher asked the class if anyone knew what prime numbers were. I don't know why, but my hand shot up. And I said the right answer. Now I think about it, and I think that the reason I knew it was because I learned it in my math tutor. I already learned prime numbers in the unit before I went to the math academy. So I was glad that I took both because I could catch up with both of them. Even though I am doing 7th grade math right now, it is not just boring. But I still dislike math.

I actually started learning math in 3rd grade. And before, 3rd grade I just learned simple math. In third grade I started my worst academy. I went to a academy that teaches math. It was called CMS academy. When I was 3rd grade and in the beginning of 3rd grade, I hated math. It was the worst subject in school and everywhere else (except for fencing)! Well, the first day of that academy was good because they usually don't push the students in the first day of academies. But after that, it was not good. Well, again, I had friends that were really kind to me and funny. Also, the teacher was strict but she was also really funny. I went to that academy 2 days a week. I went there for a long time and I often was left behind because I couldn't finish the work. I worked really hard and felt a change. I was liking math more and more as I went to that academy and I was left behind less and less. And now I am still going to that academy and I am here right now learning 7th grade math.

I wasn't a big fan to math until I was in 3rd grade, the year I attended Chadwick. I used to learn math from a tutor since 5 and altered it into an academy known by my brother's friend. That friend's mom was a principle of a big math academy. So, I started to go there. It is in Seoul and each class takes 2 hours. Recently, I started 7th grade math and some other kinds of math. I like both of those math classes because it is fun while I am there. I imply that the reason behind it is because the classmates and the teacher are funny. The makes jokes very often. In addition, the zoo project from 4th grade was one of the major cause for me to put my note in the positive side of the range of the feelings about math. In that project, I had to calculate lots of area and perimeter equations to calculate the areas and the sizes of each zoo cages for each animals. I believe that it went out very well. Also, that project inspired me to do my summative for that unit as the similar thing but improving zoo as a sports complex. Plus, TV programs that solve questions motivates me to solve more and more math questions. I really enjoy solving those problems and I learn from it. It is called problematic men translated into English. That program shows Korean celebrities including famous person named Hyeonmu Jun. They try their best to solve hard problems such as questions using matchsticks and puzzles. Another thing is youtube videos. I subscribe a youtuber named TED-ed and that youtuber makes videos of questions about interesting things about math, life, and more. When there are videos about math problems, I try to solve them. Lastly, I search genius or hard brain problems about math in youtube. It is one of the major things I do during my leisure time. If I do those things, it make me happy and motivated. These are the reasons why I chose positive for my feelings towards math.

Until I was in 3rd grade, I disliked math. Then, I started attending math academies in Daechi and found to bo curious about how the numbers work. It is 3 hours per lesson and I also found fun in math. Some hard word problems, I solved them withmy friends in the Cade my and they also found interest. Since I learn addition and subtraction from kindergarten, it wasn't a problem going through 3 grade. When it came to 4the grade, I started tutors of math and realized that math is an important subject and is useful in life. SO I st a goal to improve on my math skills, and I think I did. I am currently almost finished with Mid 1 and I like math now. My gener opinion is that math is a hard subject, and is not easy. My over all feeling is math is just what you need to do in the life time and starting a new-grade-math is always a tremendous stand out in the front of my head. The reason is because it feels like I have just overcome a big wall. I now help my sister do her math homework for the tutors and academy called SOMA. When I am stuck and feel like a problem is a stress. I erase all my thoughts and refresh my mind. When I solve that problem, it influences my feelings positively and feel proud.
