I read this book because it is available in my classroom library. I teach 5th grade and my students really like the "I Survived" series. I bought some books but the teacher who was in my classroom before actually left behind alof of books. I need to read what is on my shelves. I enjoy reading books but with school I do not have the time. During our reading intervention, I take the time to read with my students. I want to continue growing my classroom library but I need to read the books that are already on the shelf. I also have students that want to talk about the books but I have never read them so I cannot really engage on the conversation with them.
