Allah says in surah Al-‘Alaq first ayah "اقرأ"that means "read". It is not just ordinary word because that word shows a lot of meaning from Allah. Allah command us to read and seek for knowledge. Moreover , when we learning something we have to learn it properly.

(1) Correct intention

من جد و جد

“Whoever strives, succeeds.”

From Classical Arabic proverb above we know that whoever study hard to seek knowledge and they will succeed. That means we have to set our mind to gain more knowledge and most importantly seeking Allah pleasure with strong intention. So that we can obtain both the world and the hereafter.

(2) Respect our teacher

When our teachers is teaching we have to give full attention and focus to our teachers so that our teacher will not disappointed and we can get valuable knowledge from our teacher. Besides, do not talk with our friends when our teachers explaining something so that we dont miss important things.

(3) Recite du’a

اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي وَزِدْنِي عِلْمً

“O Allah, open for us Your wisdom, and spread upon us Your mercy, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.”

Recite du’a is the most essential things before we start seeking knowledge because before we seek some knowledge we have to seek Allah approval first so that our learning journey will go smooth and calm.

Allah a sent a messenger to every nation and to call them to worship Allah alone without any partners. (Tawhidullah)

1. Guide people from worshipping creation to worshipping Allah, the Creator.

2. Clarify life's purpose - to worship Allah, obey Him, and understand this world as a test.

3. Show the right path leading to Paradise and safety from Hellfire.

4. Be a proof by sending prophets, so no one can claim ignorance on Judgment Day.

5. Reveal the unseen - God's existence, angels, and the Day of Judgment.

   Effects of Belief in the Last Day

   1. Shows Allah's Perfection - Proves the greatness and uniqueness of His Names and Attributes.

   2. Creates love for meeting Allah - The greatest joy in Paradise will be seeing

   Allah directly.

   1. Instills fear of Allah - Reminds us that nothing is hidden from Him on Judgment Day.

   2. Encourages good deeds - Motivates Muslims to do righteous acts like helping others.

      This belief leads to contentment and satisfaction, even in the face of hardship and adversity.

      Benefits of Belief in Qada' and Qadar

      1. Peace of mind - ensure no overthinking and more calm.

      2. Focus on the present - Worry less about past/future.

      3. Determination - Strength to keep striving in Allah's path.

      4. Humility & contentment - Teaches modesty and acceptance.

      5. Reliance on Allah - Do your best, then trust Him.

      6. Removes envy/jealousy - Accept

      Allah's decree.

      7. Builds good character - Encourages positive manners.

Ihsan in Islam means doing something with excellence, sincerity, and awareness that Allah is watching you. It is the highest level of faith and good character.

The Prophet Muhammad se explained Ihsan in a famous hadith (Hadith Jibril):

"Ihsan is to worship Allah as if you see Him; and if you cannot see Him, know that He surely sees you."(Sahih Muslim)

In short, Insan means:

• Doing good deeds purely for
  Allah's sake,

• Doing everything with sincerity and perfection,

• Being conscious of Allah in all your actions — even when no one else is watching.

It applies to both worship (like prayer, fasting) and daily life (like kindness, honesty, and helping others).

Adab is both a quality and a process that can be learned.

Akhlãq: Moral philosophy -the reasoning behind ethical behavior.

Adab: Practical application of good manners and behavior.

Adab reflects the perfection of a person's character in speech and action.

It is a manifestation of good akhlãq.

Warned about consequences of worshiping Satan.

Divine Reward: Allah blessed him with a righteous family after he left his father's household.

5. Final Reflections

Adab is essential for respectful relationships, especially with parents.

Ibrahim A.S. serves as a model for upholding adab in difficult situations.

Niyyah is the foundation for the acceptance of deeds; every action must be carried out sincerely for the sake of Allah. Amal refers to good deeds and acts of worship that are performed consistently with the correct intention.

Ihsan means worshipping Allah as though one sees Him, and embodying noble character traits such as honesty, patience, and continuous reflection.

1. Purpose of Worship

Allah created humans and jinn with the main purpose of worshipping Him, as stated in Surah al-Dhariyat (51:56). Worship becomes the foundation of the relationship between the servant and the Creator, and it is a means for humans to receive guidance and blessings.

2. Prayer (Solat)

Prayer is an act of worship that prevents a person from engaging in immoral or indecent behavior because it reminds the heart that Allah is always watching. Through prayer, a person is nurtured to be sincere, constantly rememberina Allah. and attaining a high level of piety (taqwa).

The verse from Surah al-'Ankabut

(29:45) explains that prayer is a moral shield that shapes character

and discipline.

3. Fasting

Fasting trains the soul to achieve

taqwa, which is a deep awareness of Allah. By refraining from eating and drinking, a person learns discipline, patience, and develops empathy towards those who are less fortunate.

Surah al-Baqarah (2:183)

emphasizes that the main purpose of fasting is to make humans more pious and closer to Allah.

4. Zakat

Zakat functions as a purifier of

wealth and the soul. It removes negative traits such as greed and stinginess, and provides an opportunity for a person to build generosity and compassion.

The verse in Surah al-Tawbah

(9:103) explains that zakat purifies

and nourishes spirituality while helping to ease the burden of

those in need.

5. Haji

Hajj trains a person to obey Allah's

commands completely, especially in situations that test patience.

Muslims are required to avoid

arguments, sins, and unbeneficial actions, making Hajj an act of worship that shapes character and enhances piety.

Surah al-Bagarah (2:197) reminds that the best provision during Haji is Taqwa

Hikmah refers to wisdom, intellect, knowledge, and understanding Allah's commands, combining both knowledge and righteous actions.

Through 'ibădah, Muslims develop qualities such as humility, sincerity, and devotion, which help strengthen their understanding of Islam. The presentation also emphasizes the importance of niyyah (intention), where every act should be done sincerely for Allah with pure and consistent intentions. In addition, amal (good deeds) such as prayer, fasting, zakat, hajj, and kindness should be practiced consistently and sincerely. Lastly, the concept of ihsan or ehsan highlights worshipping Allah as if one sees Him while practicing virtues like honesty, patience, compassion, and humility in daily life, ultimately helping Muslims become better individuals and strengthen their relationship with Allah.

During the month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn until sunset by avoiding food, drink, and sinful actions. Fasting helps Muslims strengthen their relationship with Allah and improve their character.

Fasting teaches discipline, patience, and self-control. Muslims learn to control their desires and avoid bad behaviour while obeying Allah's commands. Allah prescribed fasting so that Muslims can develop taqwa, which means being more mindful and conscious of Allah in daily life.

In addition, fasting reminds Muslims to appreciate the blessings given by Allah. By feeling hunger and thirst, Muslims can better understand the difficulties faced by poor and needy people. This encourages kindness, charity, and helping others in society.

Fasting also improves behaviour and strengthens faith. Muslims are encouraged to avoid lying, gossiping, arguing, and other sinful actions during Ramadan. Through tasting, Muslims learn to become more patient, honest, and responsible.

Zakah means giving part of one's wealth to people who are poor or in need. Sadaqah is voluntary charity that Muslims give sincerely for the sake of Allah. Both zakah and sadaqah encourage Muslims to become kind, caring, and responsible people in society.

Zakah is important because it teaches Muslims to share their blessings with others. It helps people who are struggling and reduces poverty in the community.

Muslims believe that wealth is a gift from Allah, so they should use it in a good way.

By giving zakah, Muslims can purify their wealth and strengthen their faith in Allah.

Besides helping the poor, zakah also improves relationships among people. It creates love, unity, and cooperation in society. People who receive help will feel cared for, while those who give will feel grateful and thankful for what they have.

This makes the community more peaceful and united.

One important benefit of zakah and sadaqah is tawakkul, which means trusting Allah. Muslims believe that Allah will reward them for their kindness and replace what they spend in charity. Giving charity also helps Muslims avoid greed and become less attached to money and material things.

In addition, zakah and sadaqah strengthen ukhuwah, or brotherhood, among Muslims.

Helping others teaches empathy, compassion, and social responsibility.

Muslims feel happy and satisfied when they help people sincerely.

However, neglecting zakah can bring negative effects. People may become selfish and ignore the needs of the poor. It can weaken unity in society and reduce care for others. Therefore, Muslims should fulfill this responsibility sincerely to gain Allah’s blessing.
