i agree music can helps students better, and i will discus two points which are: improving language, enjoying,
first improving their language, as we know every language has four skills that included listening so that if you want to improve your listening skills and improve your language you must listening more songs, now every song has their lyrics and easy for students who do not know language well to understand the meaning of this song and that time you collect many vocabulary.
listening songs does not have only that advantage but have another advantage that is learning pronunciation of the language .
second enjoying, their are many people that listen songs that they did not understand their meaning but still they like for example you see many people who like Indian songs instead of knowing meaning that people they easy learning that language .
