Description:

1. Mark is constantly struggling to balance out his superhero life with his normal life.

2.He got into a relationship with a girl named Amber and if things weren't going well, he would do his best to make it work between them.

3.After the grueling events from his father a year ago, he struggled to live his life normally with his mother ever since.

4.He attends college for a short time but then drops out and isolates himself because he believes that there was no point in going to college if he can't balance out his normal life already.

5. Despite all this, Mark still has good morals and wants to be a better person for everyone.

Does he fit the stereotypical adult stage?

I would say that he does fit relatively well due to wanting to be intimate with another individual yet isolates himself in certain situations. He stays with his girlfriend for a while before breaking up because she felt that he was not there enough for her. Mark tried to make it work with Amber but she made her decision they decided to break up. After the break up, he talked to his mom about wanting to be better than he is now and wanting to learn how to control himself. You can see that despite the breakup and isolation problems, he still has good morals about wanting to be an overall good person.

Monica Geller (Friends) - 24-26

Monica struggles with finding a stable relationship in her life, desperately wanting to find someone to marry and have kids with. She often struggles finding a partner who has the same wants as her, leaving her feeling very isolated romantically

Monica has very high signs of OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder), often being obsessed with cleanliness and often acting compulsory in her decisions

Usually serving as the ‘hostess with the mostest’ for her friends, Monica hosts parties and hangouts at her house often, cooking meals for her friends and the holidays. This comes from her passion for cooking as well as her love for her friends.

She is very caring when it comes to her friends, though will sometimes judge their decisions, but not out of malice. Monica takes great care to make sure her friends are driven towards success.

Monica is very competitive when it comes to anything and everything, often being seen as bossy because of it. However, this probably comes from growing up with a brother who was idolized while she often got ignored or belittled by her parents when she was young.

Does she fit the stereotypical 20s-40s stage?

Monica in the early seasons definitely exhibits a fear of loneliness which is a large part of the young adult stage. While she has her close knit group, outside of that, her romantic relationships often do not work out the way she likes. For example, while both her and Richard were both very much in love with each other, they both had different wants and needs. Monica desperately wanted a child, however Richard did not. This difference led to a split, however Monica would obsess over wanting to call him and shortly meet up with him again out of fear of loneliness, even though she knew deep down it was not best for her or him. This brought out her Obsessive-Compulsive-ness too, showing a clear display of those traits of her. I’d say she definitely is an example of the intimacy vs isolation stage, although when it comes to her friend group, she has already found her knit and does not feel socially isolated in that aspect.

Sheldon constantly likes to be right, and will take everything literally.

Sheldon hates change, seen with things like their dinner schedule being the same every time, and especially with his spot in the seat, (though, that is partly because of the way the seat is positioned)

He constantly judges people, and will always speak his mind, even when the social cues don't call for it.

He is social to an extent, eventually accepting Penny as a friend after a while, but it is rare he meets new people outside of his friends.

He is constantly seen as an outcast, especially at work, being pranked a lot, (though he does get his revenge) and made fun of.

Though later on in the show, he does meet someone that he marries, and does accomplish his biggest goal in his life, in the start of the show, he is not very social, and only really hangs out with his inner friends group, and talks with the owner of the comic store. Though this is the case, at the start of the show I would say he fits in with the isolation side of his development age, and later on, develops the intimacy side of the stage.

1)Yes, the behavior fits into the appropriate stage of development. This is because Charlie is finding himself in his first year of high school 15 years old, confused with his identity, this is because he's getting over traumatic events with his aunts that scarred him. He begins to find himself within his new friendship with Sam and Patrick, which helps Charlie to explore his personality.

2.)Yes he fits the model for the age, because of his love for reading and his connection with his English teacher, helping him to realize that Mr Anderson is also exploring intellectual identity.

3.

Stage of Development: Identity vs Confusion

Jinx is a reckless yet calculated teenager due to her environment and current living conditions in the Lanes (Undercity)

She is an inventor who uses her mind for chaos. Using all her guns and bombs she attacks and defends anyone who opposes her and her guardian

Jinx displays a severe fear of abandonment which allows her to be subject to her guardian’s (Silco) manipulation. He uses her as a weapon and raises her with projections from his own upbringing.

Jinx displays many symptoms and indicators of BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) as well as Schizophrenia, PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), Late-Term Anti-Social personality disorder as well as Psychopathy Type 2.

Jinx is a character and name that roots from her childhood, being the unlucky charm, the one to jinx everything even though she was simply just a young girl in a harsh environment. She was not a fighter like her sister and other so in ways they struggled to recognize her potential. Because of this, Jinx struggles with her true identity. Whether or not she is truly the murderous Jinx or if she is still Powder at her core.

Does she fit the stereotypical teen age?

I would believe she does not. Jinx is prone to killing anything in her path and the average teenager is not going to be subject to murder. Jinx’s conditions growing up are not the same as an everyday teenager either. She is malnourished from the lack of resources growing up as well as the mistreatment of her city. She stands out from the crowd of all the fighters around her. Like Silco, she is a genius who knows how to get what she wants and if she doesn’t she takes it. She knows how to make herself feared although she is not even 100 lbs. She struggles to truly bond with even those who she considers family, when she is upset she lashes out on them in very extreme ways that the average person wouldn’t. She keeps people at a distance because those who were close to her torment her mentally with her schizophrenia. Through the show we see her start to develop a stronger sense of self but it takes her “death” to truly leave her troubles behind.

For example in his own game. he had conflict on his main motive, to help humanity or to destroy it. He had lost his memories from before, and had to carve out a path for himself, with his technical father, Black Doom, being a devil on his shoulder. Because the game had multiple endings we were able to see what would happen if Shadow was true good, the one connecting factor is his declaration of himself. “This is who I am!”

As well, with his nature coming off more from the circumstance of his creation and life story of losing what he loved. When meeting up with those he lost, Maria and Gerald Robotnik, through involuntary time travel, he was afraid to lose them, so he remained more distant until it was time for them to go back. He has generally accepted who he is, but he is still in this stage because of his struggles with it in the past. Along with the evident fact that he's not quite over his issues yet, as much as he accepts his circumstances.

References:

Shadow the Hedgehog (2005)

Sonic X Shadow Generations

Vague Ideas taken from

Sonic Adventure 2

Shadow Generations Dark Beginnings

He is the most intelligent in the entire family/show and seems to act like the most mature during moments in the show. Stewie is a highly precocious toddler who talks and acts as an adult. During earlier seasons stewie is sociopathic, manipulative and just plain evil. Even at age one, his diabolical nature could rival the world's most ruthless dictators. During later seasons though he does become more of the stereotypical baby and begins to show signs of empathy and kindness. I believe that Stewie Griffin has more introversion than extraversion. Due to the fact that he was once in cryogenic stasis, Stewie is actually 492 years old. It is possible that Stewie has over 300 IQ, or probably much higher.

She also does fit in because most people in her age range have boy problems and other problems she relates in.

One of the most important aspects of Blair’s character is her relationship with her best friend. Blair is smart, but she’s a bit stiff with people. Her insecurity gets the best of her in her relationships, and often resorts to bad tactics to get what she wants. I also think that she struggles to separate her identity from her mother and her success, from Serena, under whose shadow she lives, and from the men in her life. Another issue for Blair is the constant need for status and validation, which grows from there. Overall, Blair does end up fitting the Intimacy vs Isolation stage because she is trying to be loved by others and wishes to be accepted.

She is also very quick tempered and isn't afraid to start or finish an argument.

Anne seems as though she may have a low-moderate case of ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder). She is often very chatty and makes many impulsive decisions. There are also signs that she may have PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Certain things that occur cause her to have flashbacks of when she was abused and mistreated as an orphan.

Towards the beginning of the show she is usually seen as less than by the people of the town, because she is an orphan. However, she doesn't let this stop her from being who she is, and expressing herself and her feelings.

Anne has a never ending love and connection to nature. She is very sensitive and has emotions and sympathy for those that she loves. She often is jealous of the beauty of nature, wishing that she herself was beautiful. She continues to diminish herself, calling herself "homely", and wishing she had raven black hair.

Anne is a very good friend, and always tries to do what she feels would be the best for them. She has a great love for her adopting parents, always showing this love and always showing appreciation for them. She always tries to do what is right, no matter what others may think.

Does she fit the stereotypical teen stage?

No, Anne does not fit the stereotypical teen stage. It is very clear that she does not have the same outlook on life as most people her age do. She hopes eventually that she will become married and have a family. However, she wishes to find herself first.

Generativity refers to making a positive impact and contributing to the world such as through raising children. Richard is not wise, nor is he a good role model for his children in any way, however, he has good intentions for his family. Stagnation, on the other hand, represents feeling stuck and unproductive, lacking a sense of purpose. This also perfectly fits his character. Her song “Best Friend” was written for her sister and talks about how close they always have been and always will be..

Her personality type, ISFJ, often means people focus more on solving others' problems rather than their own, often meaning they are loyal and trustworthy people.

She was a very talented violinist and pianist from a young age and even appeared in the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and “Iceland Got Talent!” at only 14 years old. One could say that these talents were what pushed her further away from people her age, isolating her and putting her in a higher minority than most people her age.

Does she fit the stereotypical stage of development she is now in?

I would say yes. Nowadays, Laufey has friends, a boyfriend, and a very secure job performing her original songs with her sister on stage for thousands of people. While as a child she was very out of the ordinary, being clearly much more talented than her peers, as she grew she was able to make more friends and relationships. While she is still clearly much more talented than the average person, she has socially grown light years from where she was in her years as a teenager.

However, he fits the aspect of prioritizing work as he constantly tries to climb the ranks for approval. He also fits in his midlife crisis era as he struggles with validation, work, social relations, and romantic relationships. So, while he is lacking in the maturity and family starting aspect, I agree that he fits this stage pretty well.

This is shown through his famous quotes such as, "I wanna go fast", and " If you ain't first, you're last." He achieved major success through his competitive nature, and he is not generous with the money he has earned. His immaturity and cockiness are shown when he says that he "wakes up in the morning and pisses excellence." His patriotism is shown when he stands up to French driver Jean Girard and his charismatic trait is shown by the woman that he attracted.

Character traits:

Cocky/Immature/Charismatic/Patriotic/Competitive

Ricky Bobby spends nearly every dollar he earns on a luxury lifestyle that eventually comes back to bite him when he gets in a crash and is forced to retire for a little bit. He then has to move in with his mother and his children. The fact that he leaves his children to essentially be raised by his mother proves the fact that he is not very generous to the next generation, and therefore not fitting the Generativity vs. Stagnation category.

She became more focused on her relationship with her boyfriend Logan

(does their behavior fit into the stage of development)

I do believe her behavior was at the appropriate stage of development based on her age. Why? Mainly because she became more focused and more in love with her boyfriend. She became more rebellious and somewhat gained the same traits as her boyfriend. She even ended up stealing a yacht with her boyfriend and ended up arrested. Not only did Rory end up moving in with her grandparents and ditching/not talking to her mother. She also dropped out of Yale for the fall semester. Furthermore, into the situation, her grandparents ended up not enjoying seeing Rory fall in the wrong direction. Rory began to not care about anything else but her relationship she became so dependent on logan.

As she tries practice wifely customs she realizes she doesn't want to continue on that path. She questions herself and wonders what her true path is. As she goes to war for her father she slowly figures out what she is truly passionate about and what motivates her. McLovin's actions to impress his friends and fit in with his peers can reflect a typical adolescent struggle for identity and independence. Adolescents could be seen to have high and low self-esteem as it may affect their navigation with their social relationships and identity. He also begins to get close with her brother and his crew, gaining their trust and becoming a “family”. He would not fit the characteristics of Intimacy vs. Isolation due to the fact that he still is an undercover cop and getting information on them while gaining their trust although he never necessarily betrays them because of the bond they grew to have.

3) Some characteristic behaviors he is constantly doing are racing, gambling cars, money and anything valuable, he would constantly lie to his friends about his whereabouts, he would do dangerous things without a second thought and lastly he would always be willing to go the extra mile for those he cared about.

Yes, I believe Jake fits into this stage of development because most of the time when hes not being a detective in action, and being quirky, he's chasing after Amy Santiago, who he eventually marries and maintains a healthy relationship even if things get tough with him dealing with inner conflictions. Before he pursues Amy he would constantly doubt and question if he's going to be alone forever or if he would ever have a chance with her.

Jake is a very cocky, arrogant, and immature guy, however he is the precincts best detective. He is capable of taking his job seriously, he just refuses to do so. Peralta can also can be very optimistic, passionate, and imaginative.

He and his father never were close due to the fact that his father had abandoned him to come back and do it again. Jake now has an irrational fear of people he loves to abandon him (abandonment issues). He shows symptoms of severe ADHD and he has clear signs of bad coping mechanisms which serves to set ease to short term symptoms, as well as making comedy his go-to coping mechanism which explains why he is so "childish"

In the beginning of the show hes quirky (which never goes away) and he pretends to have it all together, he is humorous and immature. He eventually grows through the 8 seasons and his character development is due to growth from immaturity while remaining the comedian he is.

Jake is just a man who wanted love and attention from his father. As much of a nuisance he could be, deep down he really only wants to be loved and respected. He's a jokester with a heart. But when Jake falls in love and the detective cases ge more intense his vulnerability comes through in the form of a man who just needs to be properly taken care of.

Even though he is in his 40s, his behavior is more like someone in early adulthood because he is often impulsive, highly emotional, and takes big risks without thinking about the long term effects. He has a mix of incredible creativity and poor impulse control, which isn’t what you would normally expect from someone his age.
