         <title>What kind of teacher I would like to be?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We DO know<br><br>- it is a way of learning through immersion, not by focusing on the language itself. <br>- it is increasingly gaining importance<br>- Sometimes you need more than one teacher<br><br><br>We would LIKE to know<br><br>- How an English teacher is able to, even if you do not give language content, teach the subject<br>- To what extent do you have to correct English language when students speak or write<br>- What does it mean to 'help' other teachers when you are supporting other subjects<br>- Which skills are you assessing: English or the main subject being taught<br><br><br>NOW......<br><br>As parents: <br><br>- I would be really happy, my child is learning 'x' subject and also English, and at the same time!<br>- BUT... Is it sure that my child is going to understand everything? My child has problems already in 'x' subject...<br><br>As students:<br><br>- I would panic<br>- Am I having the same teacher?<br>- Will the exam be in English?<br>- Will English affect my marks?<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>We know: <br>* If the level of the sts is not high enough, they can't follow the class. <br>* Sts must have a "notable" at least in order to be part of a CLIL class. <br><br>Want to know: <br>* How do you teach complex context when the sts don't have a basic level of English? <br>* Can you do CLIL in any subject?<br>* How can teachers enhance their knowledge in a specific subject if they  have no idea about it? <br>* As a CLIL teacher, how strict can you be with marking? </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>What we know:<br>- The section at the end of each unit dealing with an external topic<br>- Science in English (a student had this class at her public school last year)<br>- P.E. in English<br>- Teaching through content, NOT grammar<br><br>Questions about CLIL:<br>- Is there CLIL in bilingual schools?<br>- Do both the language expert and the subject expert have to be present in the same class?<br>- How do we create interest in students to learn Literature in English?<br>- Do we follow the curriculum strictly, or is there some extent of flexibility in teaching?<br>- Is the subject expert required to have a minimum level of English?<br><br>Family concerns:<br>- Will the student follow the class well? Will he/she LEARN?<br>- Could CLIL be taking away focus from the mother tongue and favouring English instead?<br>- Is going into CLIL too difficult?</div>]]></description>
