The internet, specifically YouTube and Reddit, is a massive time waster for me. I find that I spend much of my time on these sites, and while they can be insightful and I might learn something from them, I often only use them to waste my time. It is bad for my leadership because I spend more time on it than actually being productive and completing goals and tasks.

Instagram and Snapchat are where I spend a vast majority of my free time. While it is nice being able to talk to and communicate with my friends I find that it gets in the way of my leadership because I am not saying anything of value and am only being distracted from getting legitimate work completed.

Friends are a great and important thing to have in life. The problem that I sometimes run into is letting my friends distract me and get in the way of making progress on a goal. Sometimes my friends can also do the opposite, though. I know a few of my friends that know when I am getting distracted and will let me know to help me get back on track to complete my leadership goals.

I do not watch TV very often at all, but when I do, I end up spending way more time doing it than I should. If I ever get into a Netflix series that I enjoy, I will sometimes binge the show for hours and sometimes days. While it doesn't take up that much of my life, I think watching TV is still a big distraction in my leadership journey and I need to learn to separate my time out when watching shows better.

Like TV, I really don't spend very much of my time playing video games at all. The problem is when I do get into a game that I like, I can get addicted to it, which results in me spending any extra time that I have playing it. It can often get in the way of me getting homework done, which is certainly an obstruction in my leadership journey.
