Think back and after today's class and watching Hazar Imam's video, how would you articulate who Hazar Imam is to your non-Ismaili friend?

Thousands of Muslims pledge their loyalty to a living Imam or leader who interprets Prophet Muhammad's and God's messages in the Imamat, a supranational institution. The Imam is a son of Prophet Mohammed and he is a hereditary Imam. Despite the fact that the Imam is not in charge of any area, he still holds power over Shia Muslims. I'd add to the section about the material and spiritual worlds being linked together say that they are connected but they're both separate. Our faith's values are applied in everyday life, teaching us to be kind, empathetic, and helpful to all.
