I'm a pilgrim im no city folk today i met some indians and we traded so my family could eat today. overall this settlement is good my brother and his family died last year like many other people. Tomorrow we will celebrate the good harvest with those indians i mostly like them for there fur and nothing else if they didn't help us pay our debt we will kill them. The year prior so much people died so some of us had to marry our cousins. Today is the harvest and right know most of us our setting up and little joshua is inviting the indians. right know i'm a little nervous because its been 2 hours since josh left, to be fair he doesn't know were there tribe is so were going to send a search party to find him and invite the indians. it 's been 30 minutes since my last entry and little joshua has been eaten by a bear but in good news we invited the indians. Right know the governor is talking with the chief of their tribe and they brought a turkey and some other stuff. Were eating right now and not gonna lie the food is a little dry and it needs more salt so i right it 10/10 for the 1600s standards. our cottages are warm im saying that because one is burning down someone left the fire on. the wampanoag are fairly nice and they gave me a eagle hat of some sorts. Okay we just finished eating and know we are talking about the puritans here are some of the jokes the indians said " what do you call a puritan..... a overachiever" A puritan walks into the bar and then he kicked everyone else because his wittle feelings was hurt". I know those indian jokes were a little stale. so as a pilgrim living here its pretty nice for this time in history so if you call me racist guess what This is what everyone did in this time and even the indian were racist. guess what the picture is my wife my 4th cousin deal with it.

Being a Puritan is quite frustrating. We were told to move to New England. We had to make towns. The towns we have created were Boston, Charlestown, Dorchester, and Lynn. Each town we created, had it's very own church, that all townspeople had to attend to.

In the plymouth colony we had just explored the area and we chose a spot in the hill to settle on. It was a place with great water and more. Indians had one lived here as well. The winter was really harsh and some of us died. In the spring a guy named william bradford had became the governor of plymouth. We met the wampanoag at last. We learn that a lot of wampanoag were killed by the epidemics. The indians had the fur trade and we kinda helped. Between our work and worship there was little time to play or relax. We celebrated a feast of thanksgiving and re relaxed and ate together.

Living a life as a pilgrim in the Plymouth Colony wasn't always so easy. We weren't always known as the pilgrims though, we were first known as the separatists. The members of that colony were not allowed to believe in their own religion, and I was not happy bout that. We were all forced to believe in a religion that the leader chose. If anyone judged the leader´s religion, they would get punished. Their punishment was even cruel sometimes. Some people would even get killed, and I did not like that. So, on September 16, 1620, I boarded the Mayflower with 102 people on board with me. We were then known as the pilgrims. We were all leaving so that we can practice our religion in peace without anyone telling us what to do. Since we did not have enough money though, we made an agreement with a company of investors. They would pay for all of our supplies and out trip and in return, we would have to send supplies back to Europe. Once we left Europe, we went searching for a place to start out new colony in. We then found a spot on a hill were we decided to start our new colony, Plymouth. We met some people, called the Wampanoag. We agreed to protect and to help one another. Everyone in the Plymouth colony would work together. Some people would cut down trees to build houses while others would harvest crops to eat. After completing our first year of working at plymouth in 1621, we invited our friends, the Wampanoag, to a feast of thanksgiving. We relaxed and had fun. We were glad that we finally had our freedom.

Life as a pilgrim was cool you got to ride horses and plant stuff and play once in a while. But in the beginning it was very hard many people did die on the mayflower. But we are ok now we buried the bodies once we got there. We landed near Plymouth but there was bad weather and we were led to Cape Cod. But it had poor soil so we moved west.
