Using your whole body, show as much of what your improvising to the audience. You need to make connections or otherwise the story won't work together. You need to be in the moment. And be FLEXIBLE! There are no bad ideas so go with the flow.

The key of a successful improv is being creative, imagination and being flexible to new ideas. I think the biggest key is showing good expression with your body.
And also, don't be shy!!

Deep thinking and knowledge.
Moment, body language and expression. And natural. Act it out as your are there doing it.
Let it connected so that the person who is watching could understand easily.
Say "yes" so the story become positive and the story will go on.
