Is your keyboardist, Al Greenwood. The parts that he makes for songs are not things that he innately possesses, he has to build them over time, much like how students gain knowledge over time, and its constructed.

Is your drummer, Dennis Elliott. He has to keep it mostly by the book so that the tempo can stay consistent with little deviation.

Humanism

Is your lead vocalist Lou Gramm. He was often the person who wrote the lyrics for music and he also had the extra commitment of being the frontman of the band, just like how humanism is the frontman of the educational philosophies. Being a frontman is a very individualistic role because you are not only sound great like the rest of the band but you have to put on a visible show for the crowd.

Behaviorism

Is your rhythm guitarist, Ian McDonald. As the second guitar part, Ian has to make sure that he's fitting into the first guitar part, reflecting on how it sounded previously and adjusting past that, much like how behaviorism reflects on previous behaviors in hopes to improve going forward by changing things in the learning environment.

Is your bassist, Ed Gagliardi. He needs to make bass lines that can be effective enough to play over well. You have to use facts of music theory to do that, much like how positivism is fact-based learning.

In any classroom, all of these philosophies should come into play. Granted, they will come in differing amounts. My classroom should be like a rock band. The learning that students do is the music the band makes and the band members represent the different philosophies implemented in the classroom. Classes should have a foundation of humanism, giving students more opportunities for individuality with guidance through some essentialism. Humanism is what has helped me grow as a musician. Humanism in that context is my individual practice.

Motivation

I believe that motivation should come from within. Students should be productive because they are passionate about it and want to perform well.

Student Assessment and Evaluation

Students will be assessed on their preparation for and prior to concerts. Also, they will be assessed on theory so they can gain a deeper understanding of music and how to be a more technically focus singer.

Learning Goals and Focus

The class will be centered around learning to be a well rounded performer and gaining a deeper understanding of music, wherever you are already. The primary goal will be to build confidence in all performers and to give them experience in more performance styles than just group singing.

Teaching Style and Lesson Planning

I can't definitely say what my teaching style would be. I can definitely say that my students will have a lot of autonomy in their studies. I will help to guild them but the best way someone can learn about their own voice is by experimenting with it themselves. I would plan classes to cover a certain amount of music in one period to enable a steady learning schedule and to enable for more wiggle room in making things more musical.

Classroom Environment

Being a music teacher, it's vital to me that my classroom is a welcoming space for all students. People look to music for safety and comfort and my room needs to reflect that. The experience I had in school had a great influence on this thought process.
