- Elements has 5 substance, one of them is harmony. Harmony creates units by showing similarities of seperate but related parts. Second is Balance, balance is concerned with equalizing visual elements in an artwork. Third is Proportion, it is the relative relationship of shapes to other shapes within the artistic frame in terms of size, degree, number, etc. Fourth one is Rhythm, rhythm is the repetition of design, line, or other elements within the frame. Last is Emphasis, It marks the locations in a composition which most strongly draw the viewers attention.
