         <description><![CDATA[<div>(1) Antonia made major contributions to the drafting and enactment of the Organ Transplant Procurement Act of 1984 while assigned to the Labor and Human Resources US Senate Committee, working with Orrin Hatch, the committee.<br><br>&nbsp;(2) In 1976, Antonia opened her own private practice in Springfield, Virginia and worked as a pediatrician. She soon, however, realized that she was too emotionally involved with her patents so she left the practice. "When the pediatrician cries as much as the parents do, then you know it's time to get out", Antonia stated during an interview.</div>]]></description>
