Why did the british try to take control of India? Give three reasons
ANS: no.1.
The British tried to take control of India because they wanted spices, cotton and silk
2) India had good economy. The Mughal rulers wanted money so Aurangzeb allowed the British to trade and, they had to pay a wast sum of money. 
3) India neglected Science and technology and they fell back in the medieval world.

2.They were inspired by Mughal Empire and their Luxurious way of living.
3.They had a good chance to capture Mughal Empire because the Mughals were busy in their Luxurious life and didn't focus on science and technology.
A.2) The British became rulers from traders because they had a chance of controlling India as the Mughals were busy in amusing themselves. They started taking control over weaving business by they took cotton from India and went back to Europe and started making clothes out of it by their machines and sell it in India in cheap prices.

British came as traders but were later inspired by Indian workers , Farms and the monument . British were very clever , they made two raja or nawab fight and support the winner while Mughal emperor were busy in neglecting and amusing science. the raja which was not having a son or even adopted a son when raja would die british would  took control over the land. * India has the main trading stations.
* India had a lot of labor which were very hard working.

British became rulers from traders when they took cotton from India to England, they took the cotton to the industries and made cloth out of it, the cotton was sent back to India and was sold in the markets for cheaper in cost, this way they took over the economy. 
Then the British asked the tax collector to over come the farms land and sell it if the farmers didn't pay the taxes. This way the British took over the farms.
