The Algarve region in southern Portugal is particularly famous for its golden beaches and crystal-clear waters. Portugal is also home to the world's largest cork forest and produces about 50% of the world's cork. The country has a rich maritime history - Portuguese explorers were the first Europeans to reach India, Brazil, and Japan by sea!

The most famous Slovak traditions are apple slicing, whipping, and placing fish scales under a plate for luck.
Slovak traditional dishes are brynz halusky, pirohy, lokše, kapustnica...
Košice is important to me because my whole family lived there and my parents were born there, so I spent most of my holidays and vacations there.
