Description: I found another video teaching people about the IDEAL problem solving method. I add some open-ended questions, some notes about the content, and some multiple choice questions to teach new vocabulary.

TSTM Skills: critical thinking, navigating a system (EdPuzzle), processing and analyzing information

Note #1: I left the entire video although the beginning was intended to introduce an engineering expo in Wichita, Kansas. This part is not relevant to teaching IDEAL, but I didn't want to cut anything until my colleagues weighed in with their opinion. Also, the beginning of the video gives some context to the little story told by the video.

Note #2: I studied SAMR (substitution, augmentation, modification, and redefining) a little. I think my teaching material is "augmentation": technology acts as a direct substitute with functional improvement". The improvement is that notes and questions are embedded in the video now.

Permission to use the video in this way: Hello Jennifer,

We looked at the notes with the video on EdPuzzle and loved it!!
