For an assignment, the class was required to write their own version of a Shakespeare Sonnet. Kat reads a poem titled "10 Things I Hate About You" and admits that she still loves Patrick. But, instead of taming Maddie through mistreatment, he instead does it through kindness. Eventually, Maddie softens up and became obedient.
